We believe in the importance of buying products and services locally and supporting independent businesses in the area. Here are a few local businesses we love:
Green Grass Toys: Tucked away in a beautiful corner of Canada is a workshop where natural toys are made. We are lucky enough to carry wooden rattles from this workshop. We love that they have a natural beeswax finish – something you can feel great about handing to your little one. It helps that the owners are lovely too!
Lido Skincare: Nothing beats locally made products for quality ingredients. Lido’s Organic Baby skincare line is 100% natural, which means no harsh soap or sulphates and gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.
Twin Bridges Photography: Looking for baby and family photos that actually capture the magic? Heather’s shots are truly professional and never cheesy. Wanna see examples? She took the shots of our shop.
Two if By Sea Cafe: Nicknamed TIBS by the locals, this is Dartmouth’s new hot spot. Not surprising given the high-quality lattes and so-decadent-they’re-almost-deadly croissants. Equally suitable for business discussions or meeting with your mom group for support.
Tiny Tushes: Sometimes the thought of rinsing another poopy diaper is just too much. But the guilt of the disposables is killer. That’s where Chris Roberts comes in with his super-convenient, actually affordable cloth diaper service. Did we mention that they’re snaps and not prefolds? Hurray for progress.
3 o’clock communications: Like our logo? So do we. Thanks to Katie who designed it (and a little human at the same time).
