Return Policy

HOW TO RETURN:

Hassle-free returns with no time limit. Because you're a little busy.

Returns can be made at any of our store locations or by mail. Simply bring in or send back the item for a full refund of your purchase and any applicable taxes. There is no time limit on returns but we need to still carry the item. Products cannot be returned that have been discontinued.

All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging in sellable condition with the receipt. Unfortunately, shipping charges cannot be refunded. We also do not accept returns on any international orders.


Items that cannot be returned

  • Special order items
  • Custom furniture orders (please note special orders cannot be cancelled once placed)

You need total confidence that the products we sell are completely new so for safety and hygienic reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
  • Breastpumps
  • Car Seats and Car Seat Bases
  • Food
  • Nursing bras
  • Personal care products
     

The following items are final sale:

  • Clearance items
  • Items that have been removed or taken out of their original packaging
  • Items that have been assembled or modified
  • Special order items (including but not limited to all furniture).  Please note that once special orders have been placed, we can try to cancel it for you if necessary but it may not always be possible.


Defective/Damaged Products

If you discover a manufacturing defect in a product that you’ve purchased from us, we’re here to help! First, we’ll check in to make sure there is indeed a defect – after all, some baby gear can be tricky, and product manuals can be tough to decipher without help.

Once we’ve confirmed that there’s something wrong with the product, we’ll figure out the best course of action to take: every manufacturer has a different method for ensuring customer satisfaction, so we’ll determine whether you need to contact their customer service department, or if we should make the call.

Regardless of the end result, we promise that we will do everything possible to find a solution to your problem. At the end of the day, we want everything you purchase from Fiddleheads to be functional, useful, and well-loved.


Promotional Items & Bundles

If a promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item will be deducted from the refund amount. For example, if you buy a stroller that includes a free car seat adapter, the total value of the car seat adapter will be deducted from the refund if the car seat adapter is not returned with the stroller.

If a bundle is purchased and only part of the bundle is returned, the bundle discount is void, and the total bundle discount will be deducted from the refund. For example, if you receive $100 in savings when you purchase a stroller and car seat together and you return either item, the $100 bundle savings will be subtracted from your refund.


Restocking Fee

Items returned without complete original packaging and/or proper shipping materials will be subject to up to a 20% restocking fee.

Returns by mail

  1. Email customer service at shop@gofiddleheads.com indicating your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Please ship your return via Canada Post or FedEx to the address below and in the package include your receipt or a copy of your receipt. We recommend you use a shipping service with proof of delivery or tracking options. Fiddleheads is not responsible for lost or damaged returned packages. 
  3. Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process any returns by mail. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Price Protection

For orders shipped within Canada, we are happy to process a price adjustment for you if we reduce the price of any merchandise (in the same color and size) that you have ordered from us within fourteen (14) days from the date that you submit your order.

Please note: the item must be purchased at the original price. This policy does not apply to already discounted items. Price adjustments can only be processed with the original sales receipt. Coupons and web discount code on your entire purchase can't be applied toward previously placed orders or prior purchases.

  • Online Purchases: To receive a price adjustment for full retail priced items that went on sale within 7 days after of the initial purchase date, please contact us.
  • In-store purchases: To receive a price adjustment for an in-store purchase, bring your receipt to the store where you made your purchase. A refund for the difference will be issued to the original form of payment.
