SOUND SLEEP SKILLS

Citadel Sleep

When: Saturday May 20th

Time: 9:00 - 11:00am

Cost: $30/per person 

Description:

Join Ashley Cooley to learn about how you can help your child sleep better and longer while also fostering a positive and secure attachment. This workshop is for families with children between the ages of 4 months and 5 years and covers:

•Identifying the causes of poor sleep

•Laying the foundation for healthy sleep habits

•Discovering what it means to have a secure attachment and how to foster this while helping your child learn to sleep better 

•Establishing an approach to sleep training that aligns with your family’s values and philosophies 

About the instructor:

Ashley Cooley is a Health Promotion Specialist, Childbirth Educator, and Child Sleep Consultant with Citadel Sleep Consulting. She lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with her husband and two young girls, ages 2 and 4. She’s passionate about sharing her real life experiences and certified knowledge to help families sleep better.

BABY LED WEANING 

Baby eating strawberries

Wondering about how to introduce solid foods to your baby? Interested in skipping purees?

This workshop is geared to parents who are intrigued by the concept of baby led weaning, and/or have questions about introducing solids to their child.

Led by Dr. Jennifer Salib-Huber, RD, ND and mother of 3 children who have been introduced to solids using the Baby Led Weaning method, Dr. Jenn will combine personal experience with professional expertise as a Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Dietitian.

Topics to be covered will include:

  • What is Baby-Led Weaning and what are the advantages over regular baby food
  • Nutritional & Developmental considerations and requirements
  • Resources and recipes


Handouts will be provided, along with ample time for questions and discussion.
