Returns & Exchanges

Got a gift you don't need? Bought slippers one size too small? We'll get things sorted for you quickly and easily.

We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making our customers happy. We stand behind our produts and want you to be satisfied with them. If we choose to provide a refund and no record of sale is available, a return is provided at current price on a Fiddleheads Gift Card.

We do apply returns to the tender it was purchased with.

Do I need a receipt from my purchase? 

Your receipt helps us locate your purchase the fastest. If you don't have a receipt, we may be able to find the purchase in other ways, but we'll need to ask you for more information so we can better assist with your request. 
 

Is there a time limit?

We will do our best to take care of customers and deal with them fairly; we ask that our customers treat us fairly as well. From time to time we may not accept a return. As long as we still carry the product, there are no time limits for returns or exchanges.

Do I need the original package?

Customers have told us that they want to ensure that the product they're purchasing is brand new. Because of this, we ask that any items for return are still in their original packaging.

 

Notes:

While we always want you to leave our stores with exactly what you want, there are some items that we unfortunately cannot return or exchange:

  • Clearance products
  • Breast Pump and Toilet Training merchandise 
  • Shipping, delivery, and assembly charges are non-refundable.
  • Special order items (including but not limited to all furniture).  
  • International orders can not be returned.
  • Gift cards
  • Merchandise that includes a Manufacturer Warranty is not returnable after it's been unpackaged and used, but will be covered by the Manufacturer Warranty Service (below). 
 

Manufacturer Warranty Service

Each and every stroller, car seat, high chair, bouncer, mattress, play yard and electronics item we sell comes with its own Manufacturer Warranty. This will cover you in the event of any damages or broken parts, starting from the date of purchase. (But remember: coverage time varies depending on the manufacturer, so read your warranty closely!).

Here are some tips to get the most from your warranty:

  1. Don't wait — register your product as soon as you get it to make sure you're covered. This will also come in handy if you need the manufacturer to help troubleshoot any issues you're having with your product.
  2. Because Manufacturer Warranty Service is included when you buy and register your stroller, car seat, high chair, bouncer, mattress, play yard and electronics items, we are unable to accept returns on any of these used items.
  3. If you'd like to register your product or use your warranty, contact us to find out your Manufacturer's Warranty Service contact information.

 

Returns by mail

  1. Email customer service at shop@gofiddleheads.com indicating your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Please ship your return via Canada Post or FedEx. Make sure your receipt or a copy of your receipt. We recommend you use a shipping service with proof of delivery or tracking options. Fiddleheads is not responsible for lost or damaged returned packages. 
  3. Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process any returns by mail. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
