Orders over $99 ship for free!*


*Fiddleheads will ship, FOR FREE, any order within Canada (see below for some exceptions) with a minimum purchase value of $99 before taxes via Canadian Postal Service or FedEx. Expedited Courier service is available through FedEx in Canada for a shipping fee. 

Many large and oversized furniture products require an oversize shipping fee. For these items, shipping charges are calculated after the order has been placed and we will contact you via phone or email to discuss the shipping options.

International orders, including those to the U.S., do not qualify for free shipping.

 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER:

We know exciting it is to wait for an order so we keep you in the loop during the whole process. Here's what you'll get from us:

  1. You will receive an automated order confirmation email when your order has been received.  All in-stock items are shipped within 1-2 business days and you will be notified by email of any delays. 
     
  2. shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order is ready for shipment.

You can also check the status of your order at any time by logging into My Account and clicking on "My Orders."

 

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER:

When you first receive your order, please pause for a moment and check to make sure that everything is there and in proper condition.

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 2 days by phone (toll-free 855.405.8803) to report the problem, so we can contact our shipping partner right away. If damage appears to be from shipping, it we may need to ask you to take photos and email them to us.If you get the chance, it always helps to point out any crushed or damaged boxes or packaging to the driver.

After 30 days, we cannot replace damaged items or defective items and all remaining issues must be addressed by the manufacturer.


IN-STORE PICKUP

Live in the Halifax, Bedford or Dartmouth areas? You can Shop Online and Pickup in Store! Buy whatever you need online (making sure it says "Available for Pickup" on the product page), choose "In Store Pickup" as your shipping method and then stop by and pick it up whenever is convenient for you.

In-store pickup is currently only available at our Dartmouth store but please contact us at hello@gofiddleheads.com if you'd like to pick up your purchase at our Bedford/Halifax store. Make sure to bring your email confirmation with you and we'll see you then!


ORDER CHANGES, ADDITIONS OR CANCELLATIONS 

We all change our minds and/or make mistakes. Because of this, we’re happy to remove items, add ite ms or cancel your order, as long as we are contacted by phone before the order has shipped.

Because our goal is to process orders and get them shipped out as quickly as possible (the same day if possible!), it’s crucial that you contact us by phone right away (855.405.8803). Please note, email cancellations will not be honored, it has to be done by phone.

Once the order has left our store, we unfortunately can't change it in any way, so any changes, additions or cancellations will only be accepted if the order has not already shipped.

 

FURNITURE

Furniture items are not eligible for Free Shipping. 

  • Halifax/HRM area: the delivery fee is $79 for up to three pieces of furniture. Each additional piece after the first three is an extra $10.00.
  • Within the maritimes (other parts of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI): It is generally $199.00 for up to three items but depends on location. Certain rural areas and/or remote locations outside of major centers can cost more for delivery and some furniture items require special shipping which can have a higher fee. We will contact you with a custom shipping quote for your approval prior to sipping.
  • Rest of Canada: Please contact us for a shipping quote. 

 

DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Both FedEx and Canada Post will attempt to deliver orders twice. A delivery notification will be left at your door if there is no answer and they will either try again or can be contacted to arrange a second attempt. If they are unsuccessful in their attempts, packages are held at their depots and then shipped back to the store.

In order to arrange a re-delivery, new delivery charges will need to be paid by the purchaser.


REMOTE LOCATIONS

Certain remote locations within Canada have limited delivery service and this results in a high shipping cost. We are unable to offer our free shipping to these areas but do have competitive rates with Canada Post that you can take advantage of. For a list of Remote Locations (i.e. "Air Stage Offices") by postal code, please refer to this Canada Post document (PDF)

Once we receive your order we will contact you with the shipping surcharge.
